In addition to horse-related items, I am in desperate need of some organization for record-keeping etc. If anyone has a desk stored away that they don’t need, I could use one, along with a filing cabinet and other record keeping items (files, folders, etc.) I am in the process of searching for a new computer. I cannot even upload video on this one. If someone would like to donate a newer model (mine is a 2006) that would be awesome.

Horse items:

We are completely blanketed and haltered….all shelters almost completed…..thank you everyone who helped to accomplish that!

Mucking items…a dump cart or old trailer to take to dump or spread would be amazing!

A light wheel barell and a couple of extra forks would make volunteer days more productive and help my back…lol

Rubber stall mats, shavings and/or straw
A jog cart/harness (horse size)
Headstalls
Cavesons
Durbchains
Snaffle bits (d or O ring)
Tom Thumb type snaffle bits
Reins
Saddle pads
Martingales (standing/running/german…in need of at least one of each)
Looking a little ahead…flymasks..one of the most important Dryland Distemper preventors

There will be an almost never-ending need for pipe panels, even cattle panels for various quick stalls or turn outs. We can use wood fence posts and plywood anytime, as well. (Screws, nails, and self-tapping metal screws too) We are trying to make a wind break for every shelter. We also need safe fencing material to make a turn-out for Mea Ola that will be safe for her and her soon-to-come baby…..wood posts and the V wire horse fencing would be suitable.

We could desperately use donations of sand and/or dg for stalls. We are revamping the round-pen as well, so that these older horses can be worked comfortably. Sand would help to keep good footing and prevent the oh-so-dreadful mud that makes us wait to get these guys worked and ready for new, forever homes.

Thank you,

Ann

I have at least 3 buckets of various fittings for horse fencing and roofs to donate. Where should I drop them off ????????????????

    Marcia,

Thank you. We are asking people to drop donated items at the Tehachapi Pet Lodge or at the Equestrian Center in Bear Valley. We could sure use the hardware. Thanks again for your generousity.

I have numerous halters, lead ropes, a few feed buckets, along with a lot of brushes, grooming stuff, are you in need of anything of those types of things?

We have had several halters and lead ropes donated and appreciate them very much. We could ceratinly use feed buckets and grooming supplies if you would like to donate them. We are asking for donations to be dropped off at Tehachapi Pet Lodge or the Bear Valley Equestrian Center. Thank you so much!
